Welcome to South Sound Fly Fishers

South Sound Fly Fishers – is the Olympia affiliate of Fly Fishers International.
SSFF has been dedicated to the conservation of resources and education in the art, science and sport of fly fishing for over 50 years. SSFF wants to connect you with fly fishers, conservationists, and outdoor seekers.

We are a family oriented club with monthly meetings, regular fishing outings, education, conservation and community outreach.

The Garden Hackle is the club’s monthly Newsletter. It summarizes the latest plans and activities of the club. In it, you will find information about the club’s on-going activities and efforts. You’ll find articles about conservation, education classes, monthly outings, and community involvement. You can find the Garden Hackle under the Latest News and Newsletter Tab. work in conservation, education, outings, and community involvement.

In spite of COVID Restrictions, we are still an active club. We still have monthly club meetings, but until further notice, we meet virtually over Zoom. A notice of the meeting link is sent to all members.

COVID has likewise impacted our regular monthly club outings. We will resume regular group outings as weather and government restrictions allow. Meanwhile we encourage everyone to go fishing with a healthy respect for social distancing and COVID precautions.
